It appears that I will not be able to attend tomorrow as I was unable to locate a means to get there. My 22 ft deck boat is in winter storage in Michigan. Will try again in February.

I am a professional who has been consumed with work throughout my adult life and have recently come to a realization that life is passing me by and it is time to take a few moments to stop and "smell the roses" before they wilt before my eyes.

Life is filled with daily choices and I have few regrets for those I have made, other than I have not maintained balance between work and life’s many pleasures, one of which is the enjoyment that comes with being with others who share similar interests.

I enjoy everything to do with water, boating, and beaches. I enjoy watching and participating in many sports and outdoor activities, travel, going to the theater, fine dining, photography, astronomy, natural and hard sciences, and international affairs. Fortunately, I have been blessed in that I have been able to pursue these in my profession and normal daily activities.

Would very much like to participate in my first regatta this weekend, but currently do not have a boat in Florida.

Should anyone have room and care to share good conversation and all the expereinces that go with participation in a regatta I would gladly join you.

If it does not workout this time, then it was not meant to be. Perhaps another time.
